Southern New England Telephone, Connecticut 1994 to
1998 As part of a four
(4) year project, Geotech carried out the design of a "Full Service" broadband
"HFC" network for all major cities in the State of Connecticut. This network is
currently one of the most technologically sophisticated systems operational in
North America. The system provides video, voice, data and Internet services to
homes throughout the state. Geotech engineered over 8000 miles of plant for
this ambitious project., which included fiber node layout, design and drafting
of system architecture to rigid technical and operational standards.

Wharf
Cable Limited, Hong Kong 1993 to 1998 This "turnkey" project included the
survey, design and construction of cable distribution systems in Hong Kong.
Geotech was responsible for the engineering, design and construction of major
complexes within the city, some as large as 15,000 suites. Each major site was
fed via an MMDS Headend with a conventional RF trunk and distribution system
used to feed subscribers in adjacent nodes. A fiber grid was then extended into
these nodes to replace the original MMDS feeds. During the course of this
project Geotech completed the engineering and construction of plant serving
over 350,000 homes in Hong Kong.
