Installation offering deliverables:

Geotech responsibilities:
- Confirm physical and electrical site readiness when onsite or remote
site survey is performed
- Provide physical layout diagram of the site including the expected
location of equipment with respect to power and other facilities when onsite
site survey is performed
- Provide a checklist of items that must be brought up to equipment
specifications
- Gather customer information needed for equipment to be
configured
- Designate and co-ordinate onsite field engineers with the arrival of
new equipment
- Unpack and inventory equipment
- Rack-mount or position product per customer directions in accordance
with supplier's installation guide
- Connect cables and console per customer requirements
- Power system on, validate equipment boot sequence and product

Upgrade offering deliverables for upgrades include:
- An onsite field engineer to upgrade specified hardware, software, and
memory
- Project co-ordination
- Project briefing document & project plan, activities, roles and
responsibilities, technical upgrade plan
- Upgrade scripts to change node parameters
- List of successfully completed customer-provided tests
- Final network acceptance and formal sign off
Geotech responsibilities:
- Provide the customer-supplied software configuration (where
applicable) to the Geotech field engineers
- Arrange for field engineer to be on site during the upgrade
- Confirm the unit to be upgraded and check delivered upgrade
components for accuracy
Customer responsibilities:
- Provide access to the equipment, facilities, and work space; confirm
that the site is prepared for the upgrade
- Execute a completion certificate upon completion of the milestones
identified in the statement of work
- Audit network card firmware levels (ensure firmware in the cards is
capable of supporting new releases of the network operating software)
Assist in network testing (post upgrade) to ensure the

The implementation offering delivers the vital resources, expertise, and
tools needed for your network implementations. As an example, when deploying a
voice-capable network, you will take advantage of Geotech project engineering
expertise in developing and configuring dial plans based upon experience from
proven network implementations. You leverage Geotech resources to achieve the
maximum benefit. The implementation offering focuses on the network and
includes project management, site surveys, development and loading of the
software configuration based on customer requirements, product staging prior to
installation at customer premises to confirm functionality, and onsite field
support to perform the installation as specified in the statement of work.
